Theatre in the Round is successful in part because of the volunteers who staff our crews. However, keeping a volunteer crew happy, engaged, and most importantly ready to volunteer again, is rarely taught. This panel will give the perspectives on the care and feeding of volunteers who work on lighting crews, set build crews, and painting crews. Many of the topics covered will also apply to having a happy, smooth running paid crew. Whether you work with a couple of buddies or have to supervise a crew of strangers, these ideas will help keep your volunteers coming back.
